Soul to Seoul -

The launch of a new body of work will take place in the capital of South Korea - Seoul. The exhibition brings together 100 international artists curated under the theme of IDENTITY. I have been invited as part of the 'meet the masters' section with selection of new drawings and small sculptures from my 'Familiar or Animism series.

These have human half animal heads ask the question, if we have a spirit animal do animals have a spirit human?

This new stream of studio work for galleries and collectors has an accessible scale and price point to help facilitate some of the large artworks this will inspire. Think sparrow to whale in scale. Each piece has a partner that mirrors the scale of either the human head or the animal. These will exist equally as drawings and when scale allows as sculpture.

This exhibition is part of an exciting month of contemporary art in Seoul with Frieze and many other art events happening around the city. Curated by Natalia Gryniuk from Musa International and K_Art_International.
